Saw a review and thought we'd chance it; we had the £35 for two meze and it was awesome! Beautifully presented delicious food and a bring-your-own to boot. Definitely recommended.
I've tried ezo by a friends advice and I'm really pleased I've went there, the food was delicious we really enjoyed it, staff were great really nice to us, and at the end we were all surprised with the bill which came to about 20-25 quid each totally gobsmacked with the service, i would definitely go back there again, and would recommend to everyone, to taste the great Turkish kitchen at ezo's.
Three of us ate here and the food was excellent. We all had a grand spread of marinated meats, cooked over charcoal, salads, breads and plenty of Turkish beer. The staff were really great and the bill was £20 each....Job Done! I've been to Ezo with my boyfriend last week and really enjoyed it. Everything was great, the food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly and the bill was quite reasonable. i had a pleasant romantic evening that night. i will definitely go back there again. At the end they gave us free Turkish delight on the house. I will advice everyone to give it a go.
This is an amazing wonderful find on the Gloucester Rd! With so much choice in Bishopston - and a lot more popping up! - Ezo is a lovely restaurant with that something extra. The food is freshly cooked - right before your eyes! The wonderful smells fill the air and warmly fires your appetite. We have become regulars here, and would eagerly recommend to everyone. We have used just as a couple and also twice in a big group - whatever your seating is, you can easily be accommodated. I would recommend booking on the busier nights, and especially if you're a large group.
My husband and I ate dinner here and we loved it! We were extremely impressed with the quality of the food. We especially liked the spicy sausage...a must have! I agree with the other reviews that the exterior seems a bit dodgy, but the interiors are warm, cozy and nicely decorated. Our total bill came to around 40 quid including a bottle of wine. Very decently priced. The staff was very friendly and attentive too. Will definitely come again!
Tired after a day's gardening (finally finished) we decided to celebrate with a meal out. Brains not up to choosing, a Meze seemed the logical choice so, searched for Greek / Turkish Restaurants on the web - luckily we found Ezo. Small, busy and warm with friendly but discreet service it was just what we hoped for in terms of atmosphere. The food was excellent - hot and cold starter dish with fresh hot flat bread tickled the taste buds and luckily we had worked up sufficient appetite to enjoy char grilled lamb cuts, lamb chop, chicken breast, minced lamb and vegetables. Just enough room for turkish desert platters - very fresh and sweet served with canned whipped cream (our ONLY mild criticism - a little double cream would have been better). Cost was extremely reasonable particularly given the quality of the meat served - wonderfully tender and succulent. We will definitely be back.
